I need to replace my battery cables and have removed all the black tape and plastic stuff from the factory "harness" so as to be able to see what is where. Looking at the ground side, coming out of the terminal are 2 wires. One goes over to the body.

They seem to fail first and then bring the charge down in the main battery shortly thereafter. Perhaps because the adaptive charging system is trying to charge the AUX and overcharges the main?
