Interesting I know a lot has been said of oil change intervals. I've always been of the mindset that changes should be performed between 3k-5k using traditional oil. My Honda dealer recommends 3750-mile intervals and even offers a 60,000 mile drivetrain warranty at no additional cost if they perform the service.

Here's a data point: Our '19's 'wrench' first came on at 5600 miles. All that was recommended was a tire rotation and oil & filter change. The MM will compensate for usage patterns. For example, on our previous Fit, we got less miles-per-oil-change before the WRENCH came on during the winter than in the summer.

oil change intervals Post by chet » Wed Sep 09, 2015 1:21 pm i picked up the 2013 PCX 150 with 800 miles on it last week. i am curious with such a small oil reservoir and since the engine is under a more than normal load at times, does anyone change their oil sooner, i am thinking every 1000 miles or when ever it looks dark

First oil change was by indicator light (but i was waiting til it came on to install my clutch kit, so first oil change had a clutch kit). Well second and third were 2 days in a row, because i drownd it both nights (didnt know the crankcase vent line wasnt plugged into the grommet in the airbox).
